Nanny’s Place is a love letter to a life well lived. Every surface tells a story not styled for a moment, but gathered over decades. It’s eclectic in the truest sense: heirloom crystal beside a terracotta planter bursting with pink geraniums, an antique mirror reflecting afternoon light, hand-painted ceramics watching quietly from the walls.

The room is maximalist, but never chaotic. Patterned lampshades, vintage glass decanters, layered artwork, and collected figurines coexist with warmth and intention. Nothing matches, yet everything belongs. Wood is worn in the best way edges softened by time. Metals are slightly tarnished. Frames are ornate and imperfect. The patina is the point.

Sunlight is a key character here. It spills in and catches the crystal, glows through pleated shades, and dances across old wood. The palette leans nostalgic mossy greens, warm browns, terracotta, soft creams punctuated by bright florals that feel freshly picked.

This project wasn’t about minimal restraint. It was about honoring memory. Displaying what matters. Letting sentiment sit proudly in plain view.
